The last features to appear in the 1960 models included taillights molded into the rear fenders and heavy grill teeth. New additions included aluminum radiators, but only with the 270 hp and 290 hp engines. In addition, all fuel-injected editions required manual transmissions for the first time. Cascade Green was metallic and was only added to the 1960s model making it the most rare color with only 140 made.
Fuel-injected versions helped modify the HP output to 275hp and a full 315hp. A rear stabilizer bar helped keep the back end down a bit and for the first time more than 10,000 Corvettes were built in a single year.
